Food Pantry

The Food Pantry is open monthly on the third Thursday of the month from 5:00-7:00 p.m. We provide assistance to residents of Wauseon and nearby rural areas* in the form of standard, new, staple items that will keep well.  Bring photo I.D. that shows proof of residence and anything that shows number of dependents at the address.  It is NOT necessary to be on government aid to receive food – proof of income is not needed.  There may be some items available seasonally on a first come, first served basis.

Please Note: In order to receive assistance, ALL Patrons will be required to submit proof of residency (Photo I.D.) and proof of the number of family members over 3 (this can be a SS Card, insurance card or a CURRENT letter from your child’s Wauseon school. This will be required for all patrons once a year so our records are current. Thank you for your cooperation.

We will ask how we can pray for you and then do so privately without sharing anyone’s name unless requested.

Please see our Calendar page here for exact schedule.

A free community meal sponsored by various churches in town is served weekly at Christ United Methodist Church (215 N FULTON ST WAUSEON) Thursdays from 5:00-6:00 p.m.
